Movie Tabor: A Little Czech Town on the American Prairie   In her directorial debut, Aesli Grandi invites you to get to know the people of her small hometown of Tabor, feel the sprit of the community that envelopes their daily lives, and see how the celebration of their past is allowing for a brighter future. It's more than a documentary of a single town; it's a picture of one colorful piece of the fabric that is America.   Grandi is a Tabor native and was crowned the Czech Days Queen in 1997. Polka Dance-Off Contest The contest will take place on Friday, June 15th from 6:15 p.m. to 6:30 p.m. p.m. in Sokol Park with the Nase Mala Kapela providing the music.  Contestants can register that night at Sokol Park.  There will be Five age groups:   (1) 6 and under, (2) 7-13, (3) 14-20, (4) 21-30, (5) 31-49, (6) 50 and up*.  *Groups 4, 5, and 6 will also be competing with a waltz.  Group contestants will be determined by the age of the oldest member of each couple.  Czech dress is not required to enter the contest.  Prizes will be given to the top couple in each age group.
